The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning: How to Make Your Loved Ones' Lives Easier and Your Own Life More PleasantThe Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning: How to Make Your Loved Ones’ Lives Easier and Your Own Life More Pleasant by Margareta Magnusson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I would love to meet the author. This short book was by turns charming, a tad pedantic, and hilarious. Having “death cleaned” for others, I came to terms with the concept years ago, so I didn’t learn much from the book. There’s just something about saying “Swedish Death Cleaning” out loud that makes me giggle. Forget Spring Cleaning, with its connotation of open windows, fresh air and sunshine. Let’s Swedish Death Clean, instead!
